Left Handed Sheet Bend

  • This knot is a wrongly tied Sheetbend, a very easy mistake to make. The ends of the lines should both come off the same side of the knot, and NOT off opposite sides as shown here. The knot strength is severely reduced, and this knot should be avoided.

  • Tip. Avoid this knot under all circumstances. Always use a Sheetbend.
